Vice Chairman of Genta Incorporated and founder and Chairman of ACCESS Oncology, Inc. Previously, also served as Senior Managing Director of Paramount Capital and as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Graduate of Columbia Law School.

Ira Weinstein, DBA (Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer)
Previously an accountant with the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel and a consultant to the New York State Department of Health. Taught business management at Baruch College and St. John’s University.

Tom Humphries, M.D. (Senior VP of Clinical Development)
Joined Keryx in November 2001. Dr. Humphries is a 20-year pharmaceutical industry veteran who has held senior-level positions held with industry leaders such as Merck, Eisai, and Smith Kline. He has been involved in clinical development responsibilities for nine pharmaceutical products, including several ``blockbuster drugs'', and has maintained direct responsibility for more than 20 NDAs, ANDAs, and INDs.

Barry Cohen, MBA (VP of Business Development)
Joined Keryx in September 2001. Mr. Cohen has over 15 years of big pharma experience. He joined Keryx from his position as a Vice President of Novartis Consumer Health Division.

Bob Trachtenberg, JD (General Counsel)
Previously Senior Vice President of Administrative and Legal Affairs for Accent Software International, a publicly-traded software company.

Ron Bentsur, MBA (Director of Investor Relations)
Previously Director of Technology Investment Banking with Leumi & Co. Underwriters and VP of Investment Banking with ING Barings Furman Selz in NYC.
